Paul and I just had our 15 year anniversary (we are so old!) and went on a little overnight to Salt Lake. We went with some good friends who were also celebrating anniversaries and had so much fun! We did something so different- It's called I Fly Utah. It's an indoor skydiving simulator. It's basically like a big wind tunnel that you get in with your instructor and then you fly! My kind of extreme sport- no risk to bodily injury involved. It was a cool sensation. You have to get all geared up in your flight suits and go thru "training". You are only flying for a total of 2 minutes but it seemed like plenty of time. After we were done the instructor got in there and played around. Wow he could do some cool stuff. The funniest part of the whole thing was to see everyone's faces. Your skin is flapping all over the place- it was a sight! So if anyone is interested , this place is actually in Ogden at the Solomon center. Their website is iflyutah.com. Check out our cool jumpsuits. Paul was especially lucky to get the purple and yellow. We told him he looked like a superhero!

Trial post
This is my first post! I was inspired by a friend (Thanks Nat!), who is also a busy mom, to try this new blogging thing. I've never been too great at writing letters, journaling, writing in my kids baby books, scrapbooking, etc. So I was hoping this might help cover all those areas. A lot of my family is not around us all the time so I thought this might be a good way to keep everyone up to date with our family.
I've seen some really cool blogs but since I am new at this, mine will probably be pretty basic for awhile. I just hope I can remember to add on to it every once in awhile!!
Confession time- I've had it as a goal to do this for a few months but could never get to it. So I put this blog address on our Christmas card to give me a deadline that I would have to stick to! Sorry there is not a whole lot to look at yet! Don't give up on me...
My hope is also that you will let me know if any of you have a blog I don't know about. I would love to add you to my links.
OK I've got to go make dinner, and wrap a present, and get my Christmas cards out, and help with homework, and I'm sure there's someone I have to drive somewhere, well you know how it goes....
